ERRATA AND OMISSIONS.
PAARLSHOOP SQUATTERS.
The fifth line of Mr. Sampson’s question (Col. 2010) should read “standholders” in place of “stallholders”.
INDEMNITY BILL.
In Mr. Speaker's ruling, Col. 1188, line 23, the word “not” should read “only ”; and the relative phrase would then read:
“ … He could only say … that he (Mr. Speaker) was the servant of the House appointed to carry out the will of the House …”
LATE CORRECTIONS.
ALLEGED BRIBERY.
Mr. Fremantle’s statement at the foot of Col. 185 should read:
Mr. FREMANTLE: I wish to say that I have been asked why I did not answer the Prime Minister, my reply is that I did. Afterwards I did what I considered was the proper thing to do in regard to the matter. When I found accusations against my personal honour were being circulated, I thought I had the right to make the fact known. I also thought it my duty that the country should know that these things were going on. &c.
