  1. 1. Report of the Joint Committee on Constitutional Affairs on the Constitution Sec- 5. ond Amendment Bill [B 100—88 (GA)], dated 26 July 1988, as follows:
    The Joint Committee on Constitutional Affairs, having considered the subject of the Constitution Second Amendment Bill [B 100—88 (GA)], referred to it, wishes to report in terms of Rule 147 that as it was unable to reach consensus on any of the clauses of the Bill in spite of consensus having been reached on the desirability of the Bill, it presents 6. the Bill as referred to it.
  2. 2. Report of the Joint Committee on Constitutional Affairs on the Moutse (Validation of Actions) Bill [B 106—88 (GA)], dated 26 July 1988, as follows:
    The Joint Committee on Constitutional Affairs, having considered the subject of the Moutse (Validation of Actions) Bill [B 106—88 (GA)], referred to it, wishes to report in terms of Rule 147 that as it was unable to reach consensus on the desirability of the Bill, it presents 7. the Bill as referred to it.
  3. 3. Report of the Joint Committee on Environment Affairs on the Slums Bill [B 102—88 (GA)], dated 27 July 1988, as follows:
    The Joint Committee on Environment Affairs, having considered the subject of the Slums Bill [B 102—88 (GA)], referred to it, wishes to report in terms of Rule 147 that as it was unable to reach consensus on the desirability of the Bill, it presents the Bill as referred to it.

    The Joint Committee on Constitutional Affairs, having considered the subject of the Self-governing Territories Bill [B 18—88 (GA)], referred to it, wishes to report in terms of Rule 147 that as it was unable to reach consensus on the desirability of the Bill, it presents the Bill as referred to it.
  5. 5. Report of the Joint Committee on Transport and Communications on the National Roads Amendment Bill [B 99—88 (GA)], dated 3 August 1988, as follows:
    The Joint Committee on Transport and Communications, having considered the subject of the National Roads Amendment Bill [B 99—88 (GA)], referred to it, begs to report the Bill with amendments [B 99A—88 (GA)].

    The Joint Committee on Constitutional Development, having considered the subject of the Free Settlement Areas Bill [B 110—88 (GA)], referred to it, wishes to report in terms of Rule 147 that as it was unable to reach consensus on the desirability of the Bill, it presents the Bill as referred to it.

    The Joint Committee on Constitutional Development, having considered the subject of the Local Government Affairs in Free Settlement Areas Bill [B 111—88 (GA)], referred to it, wishes to report in terms of Rule 147 that as it was unable to reach consensus on the desirability of the Bill, it presents the Bill as referred to it.

    The Joint Committee on Constitutional Development, having considered the subject of the Group Areas Amendment Bill [B 112—88 (GA)], referred to it, wishes to report in terms of Rule 147 that as it was unable to reach consensus on the desirability of the Bill, it presents the Bill as referred to it.

    The Joint Committee on Constitutional Affairs, having considered the subject of the Constitution Third Amendment Bill [B 113—88 (GA)], referred to it, wishes to report in terms of Rule 147 that as it was unable to reach consensus on the desirability of the Bill, it presents the Bill as referred to it.
  10. 10. Report of the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Development Aid on the Prevention of Illegal Squatting Amendment Bill [B 93—88 (GA)], dated 18 August 1988, as follows:
    The Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Development Aid, having considered the subject of the Prevention of Illegal Squatting Amendment Bill [B 93—88 (GA)], referred to it, wishes to report in terms of Rule 147 that as it was unable to reach consensus on the desirability of the Bill, it presents the Bill as referred to it.
    The Committee further wishes to report that the House Committee of the House of Assembly agreed to the desirability of the Bill, while the House Committees of the House of Representatives and the House of Delegates rejected it.
