New Main Post Office, Durban 457. Mr. G. N. OLDFIELD

asked the Minister of Posts and Telegraphs:

(a) What progress has been made in regard to the establishment of a new main post office in Durban, (b) what is the estimated cost and (c) when is it hoped that building operations will commence.

 The MINISTER OF POSTS AND TELEGRAPHS:
  1. (a) The erection of a new main post office building in Durban is being considered, but no decision in this regard has yet been taken.
  2. (b) and (c) fall away.
