How many White persons employed on the South African railways earn a basic salary or wage of (a) over R6 000, (b) under R2 400 and (c) under R1 200 per annum.

The figure reflected in the reply to part (b) of the Question includes that shown under part (c).
asked the Minister of Community Development:
- (1) What is the total number of buildings on which rent control has been applied;
- (2) (a) what is the percentage of all residential buildings affected by rent control and (b) how many family units are involved.
It will only be possible to furnish the reply required by the hon. member after extensive research and investigation. It is regretted that it is impossible to disrupt my Department’s urgent and important activities in order to obtain the required information.
asked the Minister of Health:
Whether it is the intention to publish in English the report of the commisssion on chiropractic; if so, when will copies be available; if not, why not.
Yes. The report has been referred to the Language Services Bureau for translation and copies will be made available as soon as the task is completed.
